Safety and Qualifications

The focus of our year-round programming is safety, fun and learning. 

The Double H Ranch is a member of the Association of Hole in the Wall Camps, a member of the American Camp Association and a member of the Professional Ski Instructors of America. 

The Association of Hole in the Wall Camps is a not-for-profit umbrella organization set up to serve existing Hole in the Wall Camps as well as camps in formation.  Their mission is to extend the magical Hole in the Wall Camp experience to as many children with serious illnesses and life-threatening conditions as possible.
The Double H Ranch is an ACA-Accredited member of the American Camp Association. The American Camp Association collaborates with experts from the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Red Cross, and other youth-serving agencies to assure that current practices at our camp reflect the most up-to-date, research-based standards in camp operation. Camps and ACA form a partnership that promotes growth and fun in an environment committed to safety.

The Double H Ranch is a member of the Professional Ski Instructors of America (PSIA).  PSIA is a group of full-time and part-time instructors dedicated to reaching the highest levels of performance within the snow sports industry. Membership represents increased professionalism and rewarding personal achievement. PSIA instructors are recognized and respected by both the public and people within the industry. As a PSIA member, you can get involved in a variety of disciplines, including alpine, Nordic, snowboard, and adaptive instruction.
