As a Ski Lodge Host, you will be the “Ranch
Representative” assisting Skiers, Instructors, National Ski Patrol
and other Volunteers throughout the course of the day.
You will also be responsible for the condition of the Lodge
as well as the presentation of the refreshments we will be
serving. As a Ski
Lodge Host, your main priority will be to make the Lodge an
inviting, exciting, fun place to be.
(The children may need some down time during the day to
rest and warm up, especially if it is a cold or inclement day, and
we will need you to be available to help with some quiet
activities.) We will
be hosting a Lodge Volunteer Training Day to make sure that you
are familiarized with the Ranch and the aspects with which we need
your help.
Below is the outline of a typical day here
at the Ranch. The
Adaptive Winter Sports Program begins with the children hitting the slopes
at 10:00am and ends at 3:00pm with a lunch break from Noon to 1:00
pm. We will need a
Host from 9:00am to 3:30pm to allow for time to both prepare and
cleanup. Thank you so
much for your volunteer spirit in considering the offer of your
time and energy!
