Being a volunteer at Double H is an amazing experience. Our volunteers provide support to our campers and staff and walk away from camp with a changed outlook on life. If you have any questions regarding your application process or positions available please email our Volunteer Coordinator at mkramer@doublehranch.org.
Our summer program runs from June until August; however, as a volunteer you will be able to choose which sessions work best for you. Our volunteer positions are filled on a first come first serve basis so please get your application in as soon as possible.
There are several volunteer positions available during our summer program.
Clinical Volunteer – (RN, LPN, NP, RT) Ten nurses per summer session are integrated into the camper cabins and provide unobtrusive medical care. Experienced and caring nurses are onsite for a minimum of one six day session. If you are unable to commit to a whole week, Camp Inspiration is a program designed to give children who are ventilator dependent the opportunity to experience traditional summer camp. Camp Inspiration utilizes nurses and respiratory therapists in 12 hour shifts.
Session Volunteer –Session Cabin Counselor Volunteers work alongside full time staff to move campers through programs and assist with daily needs. Click here for description.
General Volunteers –General Volunteers are non-residential and assist with Registration Day, Arts & Crafts, Equestrian, and Small Animals.
