Bimbo Bakeries USA Corporation, including Freihofer’s Bakery and the Sara Lee Brand, has proudly partnered with Price Chopper and Market 32 Supermarkets to show support for the Double H Ranch! Beginning in 2018, Friehofer’s and Sara Lee, both brands of the Bimbo Bakeries USA Corporation, will be including one-of-a-kind stickers on select bakery products that highlight the Double H Ranch and bring awareness to the organization. A percentage of sales from these specially marked products will be donated to the Double H Ranch throughout the 2018 year!
For over a hundred years, Freihofer’s Bakery has been a staple within the Capital District. From the very beginning, Freihofer’s Bakery, has shown generosity for the people within the Capital Region. Upon first opening their doors in 1913, the then Charles Freihofer Baking Co. donated free loaves of French and pan bread to the people of Troy. Furthermore, as a way to celebrate their centennial, Freihofer’s gave out over 1,000 free loaves of bread throughout the Northeast.
This philanthropic nature has continued to this day through their support of the Double H Ranch. Located in Lake Luzerne, the Double H Ranch provides specialized programs and year-round for children and their families dealing with life-threatening illnesses. In 2017 alone, Freihofer’s Bakery has helped the Double H Ranch in a variety of ways, from donating auction items to volunteering at Camper Registration days and the Winter 500 fundraiser. Additionally, Freihofer’s Bakery has provided event sponsorship for Double H Ranch Corporate Signature Events including Tuscan Dinner, Golf Pro-Am & Chef’s Dinner, Annual Gala, Mini-Golf and Winter 500 and has once again been the sole sponsor of the Double H Ranch Holiday Party, which is held annually as a way for campers and their families to enjoy the holidays at camp.
