Olympic Skier Andrew Weibrecht visits Double H

Two time Olympic medalist, Andrew Weibrecht who is from Lake Placid, NY visited the Double H Ranch for the opening day for the 2015 adaptive ski program on Saturday, Jan 3rd. He was only home for a few days from training but very generously spent one of those days at Paul Newman’s Double H Ranch. The camp has 230 annual campers in the winter program and provides 1500 lessons for children ages 6-16 who are chronic and seriously ill. It is the only adaptive ski camp in the world that is independent of a resort and the only Paul Newman SeriousFun camp with a winter program. Andrew brought his medals, met and skied with campers (even raced a few runs when asked) and tried out a monoski!
