Providing the resources to make it all possible
Comprehensive pediatric healthcare is fully integrated into the fun and adventure of the camp experience here. Our team’s expertise allows us to safely support over 50 serious and life-threatening diagnoses with seamless in-program care and individualized plans for each camper.

Your donations allow us to offer comprehensive pediatric care, right here at Double H
On-Site Medical Staff and Training
- 2-3 physicians each session, including at least one pediatric acute care physician
- Pediatric specialists including Hematology/Oncology, GI, and other specialty areas
- 24/7 nursing coverage each session
- 8-10 volunteer nurses each session providing direct, daily, in-cabin care
- Year-round nursing leadership supporting seasonal medical staff
- Condition-specific training and orientation provided annually for all staff and medical volunteers
On-Site Healthcare Capabilities
- Advanced procedures (infusions, injections)
- Nebulizer treatments
- Complex multi-medication and multi-disciplinary care coordination
- Specialized equipment including Hoyer lifts
- Emergency response, stabilization, and mobilization
- Emergency transport pathway to Albany Medical Center
