Double H Ranch, a year-round camp that provides programs, support and life-long memories for children living with chronic and serious illnesses, announced today three new additions to its board: Liz Bishop, Michael Della Bella Sr. and Dr. Jason Mouzakes.
“Double H Ranch is proud to welcome three new members to our Board of Directors. Each of these individuals bring meaningful experiences and valuable insights that will help us continue with our mission and shape programming moving forward. I am grateful to the passion and dedication of this group – each and every one of our board members’ commitments helps to bring our mission to life, ensuring Double H continues to make a difference,” said Charlie Crew, Board Chair of Double H Ranch.

As a longtime anchor for WRGB, Liz Bishop became a familiar and trusted voice for the region. An Emmy-winning journalist, Liz has also earned several Edward R. Murrow and New York State broadcasting awards for her outstanding work. Beyond the newsroom, she’s widely known for her deep community involvement, especially her longstanding support of Double H Ranch through fundraisers, events and award-winning storytelling. Her contributions have earned her numerous recognitions, including induction into the NYS Women’s Press Club Hall of Honor. Above all else, Liz is proud of the lasting relationships she’s built with families through her advocacy and storytelling around the Ranch’s impact.
“Throughout my career, I’ve been able to witness first-hand the amazing things Double H Ranch has done for children and their families. A camp experience is so special to so many, and Double H makes it possible for those that might require a little extra care. They make dreams come true while eliminating some of the stress for parents and families, and I’m thrilled to be joining the board to continue spreading their mission,” said Bishop.

Michael Della Bella Sr. is the founder of the DELLA Auto Group, which he launched in 1983 with his wife, Carmen, in Queensbury, NY. What began as a single dealership has grown into a 10-location, multi-generational business serving communities across the North Country. Known for its strong community presence, the organization was recently named the North Country Chamber’s 2026 Business of the Year. The Della Bella family has also been a dedicated supporter of the Double H Ranch and other nonprofit efforts for more than 30 years.
“The nonprofit community and especially Double H Ranch, has always been a big part of mine and my family’s lives. What this organization does for the community is truly special and I’m excited to play a bigger role as I transition onto the board. I’ve seen the growth over the last three decades and I’m looking forward to even more to come,” said Della Bella Sr.

Jason Mouzakes, MD, is the President and Chief Executive Officer at Albany Medical Center Hospital, the flagship of the Albany Med Health System. A longtime member of the Albany Med community, he previously served as chair of the Department of Otolaryngology and held faculty roles in Otolaryngology and Pediatrics. Throughout his career, Dr. Mouzakes has helped to grow otolaryngology programs and drive major system improvements, including streamlining operations, advancing a uniform electronic medical record across the system, and promoting integration between the system’s four hospitals, medical college, and visiting nurses agency. Dr. Mouzakes is also pivotal to the System’s First Choice 2030 vision: to be the first choice for patient experience, quality, and clinical excellence. As part of his role on the Double H Board, Dr. Mouzakes will serve as the chair of the Medical Advisory Committee.
“Over the years, I’ve worked with many children facing serious health conditions and I feel honored to be part of the Double H Board making a difference in the lives of so many of these kids. I’m excited to get started, working closely to carry out their mission and bring joy to so many in our community,” said Dr. Mouzakes.
“Welcoming these new board members reinforces our commitment to the children, families, and community we serve. Double H Ranch is strong because of the people who lead it, and I’m excited to have our new members join us as we continue providing free, year-round camp experiences for deserving children,” said Alison Wilcox, CEO of Double H Ranch.
“We are deeply grateful for the dedicated board members, donors and volunteers whose leadership and generosity have long sustained Double H Ranch. Welcoming these new board members builds on that strong foundation and reflects the shared commitment to the children, families and communities we serve. Together, we will continue expanding the reach and impact of Double H Ranch’s free, year-round, programs for children and their families living with serious illnesses, said Alison Wilcox, CEO of Double H Ranch.
