Double H Ranch announces the appointment of new Board Members: Sharon Daley, Mary Lou Doyle, Sandy LoPiccolo and Dan Rutnik.
“Double H Ranch is proud to welcome four new members to our Board of Directors, each bringing valuable experience, insight, and dedication to our mission. They join a distinguished Board united by a deep passion for our cause. I am grateful for their commitment to share their time and talents to help us fulfill our mission and ensure the Ranch continues to thrive.” said Charlie Crew, Board Chair of Double H Ranch.

Sharon Daley is a global Human Resources executive who applies nearly 40 years of in-depth experience to help clients navigate career challenges and transitions. Sharon served as an Operating Partner at Blackstone, and before that, held multiple roles in five diverse GE businesses, ultimately serving as VP of HR for GE Power. She now is an executive advisor for MyNextSeason, a company which coaches individuals working through career transitions. Throughout her career, Sharon has advised individuals in all stages of development — from early professionals to C-suite leaders — and she leverages this wide breadth of experience to help her clients create their own paths to success.
“I feel honored to be joining the Double H Board. Over many decades, the staff at the Double H Ranch has enriched the lives of thousands of children with chronic and serious illnesses who attend their camps, creating lifelong memories for them and their families. The spirit in which the Double H staff carry out their mission is truly inspiring, and their impact is immeasurable. I look forward to working with the Double H Board and staff as they grow and expand their impact on our community,” said Sharon Daley.

Mary Lou Doyle is the owner of Exact Change Racing, a New York state thoroughbred racing and breeding stable. Both she and her husband race throughout the United States and support the backstretch community as well as the Paralyzed Disabled Jockey Fund. From April through November, she hosts backstretch tours of Saratoga Racetrack and the barns in both English and Spanish. Her professional background includes corporate communications, marketing and government relations at the local, state and federal level.
“It is such an honor to be invited to join this board, but more importantly, to join this incredibly joyful community of staff and campers. Giving back should be part of everyone’s daily life and as a part of Double H, I feel it comes back to me in a million different ways that will impact me always. These beautiful children may not realize how much they give back to all of us with their determination to feel like their peers and play through their serious medical challenges. It is an honor to spread the message about the difference Double H makes to children and families,” said Mary Lou Doyle.

Sandy LoPiccolo, parent of a Double H Ranch camper, is the Chief Communications & Marketing Officer at Bedtime Math Foundation, a national nonprofit focused on elementary math education, where she has overseen all aspects of the organization’s messaging and branding, advertising, and social media strategy since 2012. Prior to joining Bedtime Math, Sandy worked for CBS News as a Producer for CBS News Sunday Morning where she earned multiple News and Documentary Emmy Awards nominations. A dedicated advocate for the disability community, she currently serves as Vice Chair on the boards of the Midland Corporation and Autism New Jersey and is a volunteer Program Director for ACEing Autism.
“As a parent of a child with disabilities, I know how rare it is to find a place where kids like my daughter can just be kids. Double H isn’t just a camp — it’s a place of magic, connection, and hope for children with serious medical conditions and their families. I am thrilled to join the board and help carry forward this incredible mission,” said Sandy LoPiccolo.

Dan is the Chairman of Graypoint LLC, a financial advisory and investment firm for families and not-for-profit institutions that recently announced a merger with Cerity Partners later this month. Dan and his team specialize in working with ultra-high-net-worth families, providing sophisticated investment management and financial planning services.
“I am thrilled to be part of the Double H board. It has been a highlight of my life to be affiliated with Double H for several years and I am eager to do whatever I can to promote the well-being of the campers and the success of the Ranch,” said Dan Rutnik.
“The addition of new leadership marks an important step in advancing our organization’s growth and progress as we focus on long-term sustainability. We are excited to welcome these new members who further strengthen an already strong Board focused on ensuring we continue our commitment to providing life affirming camp experiences,” said Alison Wilcox, CEO of Double H Ranch.
