Maintenance/Grounds – The Ranch is located on approximately 320 acres of land and the full-time Maintenance Department loves the help of volunteers who are able to rake, paint, garden, mow grass, and assist with the general maintenance of common areas.
Quilts – Each bed at camp has a one-of-a kind handmade quilt, something which the campers adore. This is a fun project to do from home and is much need at the Ranch!
Community Work Days – The Ranch coordinates spring and fall community work days for individuals, and groups to assist with grounds and maintenance work before and after the summer camp season. Community work days are a great opportunity for team-building and school community service requirements. The minimum age of participants is 12 years.
Fundraising/Special Events – All programs at the Double H Ranch are offered free of charge to our participants. To support the program we have year-round fundraising and special events. Larger events, such as our Annual Gala and the Sagamore Golf Tournament, rely on volunteer assistance.
